I just came across a very compelling infographic on managing workplace crises put together by Ceridian – and feel it is well worth sharing.  Keeping the workplace safe and secure is arguably one of the top three corporate security challenges this year, an unfortunate state of affairs likely to continue into 2015 and beyond.

These are issues we are helping our clients at Hillard Heintze address every day – from large Fortune-ranked enterprises, professional sports associations, hospitals and healthcare entities, and other private sector organizations to federal, state and local agencies.  Managing workplace crises and mitigating the risk of a violent or catastrophic event is never a stand-alone initiative.  As we advise our clients, virtually daily, it takes careful planning and expertise across multiple initiatives at the corporate, business and facility levels: risk, threat and vulnerability assessments; crisis management plans; operational security plans; emergency management plans; active shooter plans; and threat assessment and management programs, to name a few.
