Human Resources Directors wear many different hats – payroll, employee benefits and employee relations – to name a few. In addition to these topics, it is becoming increasingly important for HR Directors to be well versed in workplace violence prevention. HR plays a critical role in identifying suspicious behavior and working in conjunction with the security department to ensure all employees are aware of what to report when they notice behaviors of concern that could reflect or lead to violence against themselves or their colleagues.
