Howard Fisher is a seasoned executive leader with hands-on, profit-and-loss management experience across multiple industries as well as a sales leader, attorney and litigator with a personal understanding of the challenges confronting many of our clients.
Before joining Hillard Heintze, Howard held executive positions at several large professional services firms and corporations where he was entrusted with rapidly increasing responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial performance of multiple teams and, cumulatively, the generation of more than $500 million in revenues.
Since 2014, Howard has been instrumental in driving enterprise-wide strategies that support Hillard Heintze’s corporate objectives: robust growth, superior financial results and a sustained competitive advantage. Over the past five years, Hillard Heintze has expanded its engagements with existing clients and cultivated a growing number of new clients by building the foundation of a world-class, relationship-centric business development organization focused on people, processes and technology. Howard oversees the dedicated Strategic Relationship team members who, working side by side with the firm’s subject-matter experts, continue to achieve year-over-year, double-digit growth.

In short, Howard builds relationships, earns trust and helps our clients understand how to solve their investigative and security risk management challenges. Howard is a key contributor to both our Senior Leadership and Executive Teams.
Prior to joining the Hillard Heintze team, Howard served as Midwest Regional Vice President of Veritext Legal Solutions, where he managed a team of over 40 members, oversaw operations and business development, and led the strategic integration and reorganization of several complex business development and operational divisions into a single, streamlined and agile organization.
Earlier in his career, he spent six years at SmithBucklin, a leading association management firm with 450 staff and nearly $80 million in revenue – first as Executive Director and then as Vice President. Before that, Howard recruited and sustained a top-performing client relationship team in various Regional Leadership roles at LexisNexis. Previous accomplishments include appointment to the LexisNexis Leadership Council and Account Manager Advisory Board and the receipts of multiple awards for outstanding performance, including Midwest Region Account Manager of the Year and a Circle of Excellence award.
