Hamisi Amani-Dove anchors the Hillard Heintze Strategic Relationships team in Washington, D.C. As Senior Account Executive, he collaborates with the firm’s senior management experts in the National Capital Region, as well as up and down the East Coast. In this critical role, Hamisi anticipates and responds to emerging client needs and aligns these with the appropriate Hillard Heintze experts and client service delivery teams.
As Hillard Heintze investigative, security and law enforcement consulting services continue to expand rapidly, Hamisi plays a central role in directing that growth. He creates and drives opportunities for new proposals; presents clear, concise and customized solutions to existing and prospective clients; and continuously works to improve our processes for strategic relationship building.
Hamisi previously worked as the Director of Federal Workforce Partnerships at Excelsior College, where he worked with corporate and federal clients to bring training, learning development and degree content to partners to bridge learning gaps within organizations and drive business initiatives. He was the lead on all government relationships including the Office of Personnel Management, the largest partner in Excelsior College’s 40-year history, and the D.C. Department of Human Resources, which allowed access to all agencies and departments within D.C.’s government for training and development opportunities.
Hamisi has also led business development for an international full-service security firm, where he initiated and developed impactful relationships with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. He has worked with clients with needs ranging from risk assessments, facility design and preemployment screening to executive protection and physical security.
A former professional athlete and 1996 Olympian, Hamisi has been a guest speaker throughout the U.S., promoting the importance of recreational programs and youth participation in sports. He also provides guest technical training for many youth clubs in Maryland and Virginia.
Hamisi is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.
