As a strong strategic thinker, Courtney Ramirez brings a hands-on approach to the integrated marketing at Hillard Heintze, helping to engage audiences while supporting the varying needs of this growing organization. She is responsible for the development, execution and ongoing improvement of the Hillard Heintze inbound marketing strategy.

Courtney works closely with the Hillard Heintze executive team as well as its subject-matter experts to develop industry-relevant marketing content, including blogs, reports, executive briefings and webinars. As part of her role, Courtney evaluates and prioritizes marketing channels ensuring that Hillard Heintze’s audience of individuals with security-related responsibilities stays informed on topics that impact their ability to protect what matters. In addition, she oversees all of Hillard Heintze’s external facing marketing outlets, including the website, social media channels and public relations.

Prior to joining Hillard Heintze, Courtney led a team at Nielsen as its marketing director. She coordinated Nielsen’s core retail and consumer measurement marketing strategy with a focus on enhancing its brand image and generating demand with existing clients. She developed and executed integrated marketing plans to drive demand, awareness and reputation. In addition, Courtney created new brand sales messaging that helped to maintain Nielsen’s market share and promote client retention.

Courtney began her career at Claritas, a Nielsen company. She concluded her five-year run as client director having retained, renewed and expanded a client base valued at over $1.6 million in company revenue. As marketing manager for Nielsen, Courtney developed a framework for activating Nielsen thought leadership with its clients and drove over $1 million in incremental sales opportunities over four years. She created new messaging to reposition mid-size client offerings, which led to a 15 percent increase in new project sales. Courtney also led messaging and client retention efforts that resulted in $4.5 million of renewal and incremental revenue.

Courtney earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Saint Xavier University.
