Andrew Werfelmann is viewed by clients and fellow colleagues as a trusted advisor and team player. At Hillard Heintze, Andrew builds and nurtures strategic relationships with our commercial and governmental agency clients – in effect, by working very closely with them to align their objectives and requirements with the expertise, resources and support that Hillard Heintze provides.
He spends a lot of time listening to clients – and asking them questions. Armed with these insights, he helps them think through how to get the most value from the firm and develops recommendations that can produce meaningful, lasting results and ensure their satisfaction. This involves maintaining continuous lines of communication to ensure that their needs are met quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.
Before joining the firm, Andrew developed expertise in strategic relationship management at SmithBucklin, the world’s largest association management company with 450 staff and over $100 million in revenue. Quickly promoted from associate to senior coordinator, he was accountable for growing top line client revenue by understanding the client’s needs and bringing partners to the table that were a strategic fit for the organization through a diverse set of products and solutions.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from the University of Illinois.
