Head of President Trump’s and President Obama’s U.S. Secret Service Protective Detail to Join Hillard Heintze
Michael White’s 26-Year Career Protecting the Last Five U.S. Presidents Will Prove Valuable to the Firm’s Extensive Private Client and Family Office Relationships
CHICAGO, IL, May 15, 2017– Today, Hillard Heintze announced that Michael White, the Special Agent in Charge of the Presidential Protective Division (PPD), will be joining the executive leadership team at Hillard Heintze. White will lead the firm’s Private Client and Family Office services. He is retiring from the U.S. Secret Service on May 31, 2017, after a 26-year career.
White’s exceptional track record includes responsibility for all security and protective measures for the U.S. President, First Lady, First Family and White House Complex. White has planned, designed and led the protective security operations for Presidents Trump, Obama, Bush 43, Clinton and Bush 41. White is recognized around the world as among the most experienced security experts at developing and executing executive protection plans and securing the nation’s most critical infrastructure, venues and events.

As Special Agent in Charge of the PPD, White developed and executed a multi-million dollar budget and all protective programs for the PPD. He authorized, directed and implemented contingency plans and supervised the day-to-day intelligence stream on domestic and international threats to the President, the First Family and other protectees. He also enacted daily facility and operational plans to protect the First Family against internal and external threats, lone assailants, multiple attackers or explosive-laden vehicles and ensured presidential environments are protected against all risks, threats and vulnerabilities.
